Hello. This is the first post on the AI Labs blog.
We'll write about what we're seeing in AI training. New models, new tooling, what works in a classroom, what does not. Also expect posts that break down our courses topic by topic, walkthroughs of the cloud labs students actually use, and the occasional rant.
What you'll find here
- Course explainers — when we teach backprop or fine-tuning, you'll get the same explanation here in writing.
- Lab spotlights — why we built the labs we did, what they cost to run, what students get out of them.
- AI news, with opinions — when a new model drops or a paper gets traction, we'll say what we think.
- Career notes — what's actually getting people hired in 2026, from our own student outcomes.
Why we're writing this
Most AI content online is either marketing fluff or impenetrable research. We sit in the middle: we teach this stuff every week to real students who need to ship real work. Posting some of what we already say in class felt overdue.
If a topic interests you, browse our courses or check out the cloud labs we run them on.
